Hi,

At page 159 for edition 2009 edition A, there is a table about insertion temperature increase. 

At this table, does "gauge" mean a value for AWG ?

Please let me confirm.

Another interpretation

I'm fool enough to guess "gauge" as connector's gauge depth for calibration in another interpretation.

But no unit is assigned to the table, so I guess it means AWG and ask you that question just in case.
