FIDES general status?

Hi there,

is there any status update for FIDES methodology and whether or not there is an update to documentation in the work pipe? I've seen there were some web conference news from last year but as I see they were in French.

As "end of the year" is approaching fast, any update on that effort? Background: Is it worth implementing something based on FIDES 2009 or will it be superseeded anyhow within the next 4 weeks?
