Hi,
the AD1585 is a 5.0 V Micropower, Precision Series Mode Voltage Reference (http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/AD1582_1583_1584_1585.pdf). I don′t know if I have to consider it as a integrated circuit or simply a zener regulator.
Thank you
Enea
Dear,
My advice is to describe it as an analog IC and not a simple zener.
The reason is that even if this device has simple interfaces, it is built of several transistors, diodes and so on, intregraded in the same chip. So it is an "integrated circuit" and not a "discrete semiconductor".
